Mulberry Academy Bexhill Significantly Above the Latest National Average in Its Strongest Year Yet
Mulberry Academy Bexhill’s GCSE results confirm its strongest year yet, with 70% of students achieving a grade 4 or above in English and Maths, and 51% achieving a grade 5 or above. Both figures beat the latest national averages, 65.5% and 45.2% respectively, by some margin. This marks the fourth consecutive year of improvement for the academy.
Among this year’s standout performers are:

- Mariya A, who achieved Four 9’s, Four 8’s & One 6
- Lily R, who achieved Six 9’s, Three 8’s & One 6
- Poppy W, who achieved, Four 9’s, Three 8’s & Two 7’s
Headteacher Dr Neal said: “Four years of steady improvement have brought us to this point, and none of it happened by accident. This exceptional performance is down to the hard work and dedication of both our staff and our students, and the whole school community could not be more proud of what they have achieved. This is our students’ victory, and this school’s victory, earned through nothing but hard work and belief.”
