Record-Breaking Results at Mulberry Academy Bexhill
This summer, our Year 11 students achieved the best set of GCSE results in Mulberry Academy Bexhill’s history, the fourth year running that results have improved.
70% of students achieved a good pass, a grade 4 or above, in English and Maths, and 51% went further to a strong pass, a grade 5 or higher. Both are significantly above the latest published national averages of 65% and 45.2%.
Highlights this year include:
Annebelle L, seven grade 9s, two grade 8s and a grade 7
Mariya A, four grade 9s, four grade 8s and a grade 6
Lily R, six grade 9s, three grade 8s and a grade 6
Poppy W, four grade 9s, three grade 8s and two grade 7s
None of this happened by accident. It’s four years of students and staff turning up and doing the work, every single year, until it added up to this.
Our ambition is to truly be the best school in our local area, with great results and incredible opportunities, setting students up for a fulfilling and successful life, and to keep giving something back to the community that has backed us the whole way.
Certificate Collection Evening takes place on Wednesday 25th November, from 5pm to 6.30pm, in the Theatre.
Headteacher, Dr Craig Neal, said:
“These results are a testament to the belief and ambition of our students. Every single young person should be immensely proud of what they have achieved – they truly deserve their success.”
Chair of Trustees, Christine Bayliss, added:
“As a community, we could not be prouder. These results show just how far Bexhill Academy has come, and we look forward to seeing our Year 11 leavers thrive in their next steps.”
This is a landmark moment for our academy. We are proud not only of the grades achieved but of the journeys behind them. Every success tells a story of growth, determination, and potential.
To our incredible Year 11 leavers – congratulations. Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning.
