Alex, has been playing guitar professionally since 2006. Has toured the UK and Europe multiple times as a session musician for rock and pop artists as well as with his own bands, including performing at some of the world’s biggest festivals.
Alex gained BA Hons degree in Professional musicianship from the Brighton institute of modern music and has been teaching guitar for 8 years. Alex loves to teach students through the music they love.
Joshua Cole is a professional guitarist with nearly a decade of performance experience across the country, performing in a variety of ensembles and styles including funk, rock, and fingerstyle guitar.
In addition to performing, he is skilled in composition and music production.
As an educator, Joshua works with students at every stage – from complete beginners to those writing and recording their own original nusic. He emphasizes student-led learning, encouraging students to bring their own musical interests into lessons.
His philosophy is simple: there’s no better way to learn than by playing the music you love.
Jon Ewen is an independent drummer and educator with over 40 years of playing experience, including 35 years performing and teaching professionally.
Alongside his independent work, Jon is a member of the 70s hard rock-influenced band Mars Bonfire, who are currently writing their debut album, with live dates expected in late 2025 and early 2026.
He also performs with rock covers band Admiral Finns Reloaded and folk trio Llama Legs, showcasing his versatility across genres.
Keren trained at the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology and is a qualified ISTD Tap Dance Teacher. She also holds a recognised vocal teaching accreditation through the AOTOS Vocal Teacher Development Essentials course and is currently studying for a Level 5 Diploma in Singing Teaching.
She has extensive teaching experience across musical theatre, singing, drama and dance, including tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary and commercial styles. Her students regularly take part in Trinity Musical Theatre and Speech & Drama exams, LAMDA, LCME assessments and local performance festivals. Keren also choreographs, directs and produces for amateur productions.
In 2022, Keren appeared on Britain’s Got Talent with The Frontline Singers, performing at the London Palladium and later in the televised semi-final at the Hammersmith Apollo. She has also performed for the Katie Piper Foundation Christmas Concert, appeared on Crimewatch Live, and recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
Before returning to the performing arts full-time, Keren served as a Police Officer for nearly 15 years before moving into education, including work as a Primary School Teaching Assistant.
Keren now teaches 1-to-1 drama lessons, supports productions at Bexhill Academy, runs her own coaching business, and performs regularly as an events and wedding singer with her bands Keren and the Condiments and Soul Town.
Hana Lewis is a professional singer and vocal coach with nearly 20 years of experience in the music industry. She trained at BIMM, achieving a Distinction Vocal Diploma, and completed specialist speech-level singing training with Lloyd Wade.
Alongside her performing career, Hana has over 15 years of teaching experience, working with students aged five to adult. She supports singers of all abilities, focusing on healthy technique, confidence, musicality and performance skills. She has extensive experience preparing students for musical theatre and popular vocal examinations, as well as local competitions.
Hana has worked with major record labels including Universal and has written and recorded original music, including an EP. One of her songs continues to raise funds for Age UK, with all profits donated to the charity.
As a performer she has toured across the UK, Ireland, Scotland, the South of France and the Mediterranean. She has worked on the West End stage at the Lyric Theatre with John Maher and the lead choreographer from Thriller Live, and has performed in both Celine Dion and ABBA tribute productions, including ABBA Inferno. She continues to perform regularly and has headlined the Hastings Music Festival on multiple occasions.
Alongside performing, Hana remains passionate about developing confident, healthy singers and supporting the next generation of performers.
